BB Bankroll Bench

Polymarket bankroll discipline for human beings

Keep part of
what you win.

Bankroll Bench finds your realized Polymarket profits, calculates a 20% Skim, and remembers when reserve money comes back as an advance.

Python 3 · PySide6 · Windows or Linux · No account required

01 / Philosophy

Realized profit is not automatically permission to bet more.

As a bankroll grows, bets tend to grow with it. Eventually, yesterday’s winnings become tomorrow’s losses. Bankroll Bench interrupts that cycle by taking a fixed share of profitable results off the table.

Money moved to reserve has escaped the bankroll. If you bring it back, the program calls it an advance and keeps the debt visible until you repay it. No moralizing. No casino dashboard. Just a useful boundary.

02 / How it works

A short loop, repeated.

1

Fetch your history

Enter your Polymarket wallet or proxy address. Bankroll Bench assembles your campaigns and realized profit and loss.

2

Choose the wins

Ctrl-click the profitable listings you intend to skim. The line below the table shows their combined P/L and Skim.

3

Build the Current Skim

Add the selected profits. Processed listings are marked Done so you do not accidentally count them twice.

4

Move it yourself

When the Skim is large enough, move the money to reserve and mark the transfer complete. The program never touches your funds.

03 / Boundaries

It does

  • Read public Polymarket account history
  • Separate returned stake from profit
  • Calculate the 20% Skim
  • Prevent duplicate processing
  • Track the Current Skim
  • Remember advances and repayments

It does not

  • Place bets
  • Connect to or control your wallet
  • Move money automatically
  • Recommend markets or positions
  • Measure your worth as a human being
  • Become QuickBooks

04 / Install

It is one Python file.

Install Python 3, install the two dependencies, and run Bankroll Bench. PySide6 brings the Qt interface; no separate Qt installation is normally needed.

Windows
py -m pip install PySide6 requests
py bankroll_bench_v13.py
Linux
python -m pip install PySide6 requests
python bankroll_bench_v13.py
What the program stores

Settings, Skims, transfers, and advances stay in a local SQLite database on your computer. Wallet-specific Done marks are also stored locally. Bankroll Bench has no server and no user accounts.
